At the end of June, within the framework of the San Pedro festivities, the Amazon Folk Festival (Festival Folclórico de La Amazonía) takes place in Florence, one of the most anticipated celebrations in the festive calendar of the capital of Caquetá that has been celebrated uninterruptedly since its establishment. in 1994.
 
For four days, Florence is the scene of parades of floats, troupes and chivas, concerts and outdoor musical presentations, craft and gastronomic fairs, parades and the popular pageant in which, among candidates from various municipalities of the department and communes of Florence, crowns the queen in charge of representing Caquetá in the National Pageant of Bambuco in Neiva.
