The San Jacinto Native Bagpipe Festival (Festival Nacional Autóctono de Gaitas) is one of the most emblematic musical celebrations of the Colombian northern coast, which commemorates the cultural wealth inherited from the tri-ethnic mix.

It brings together various musical groups, both amateur and professional, among which the bagpipe shines, an emblematic instrument of the Colombian Caribbean inherited from the indigenous Kogis and Arhuacos and popularized internationally by the folklore group "Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto", winners of a Latin Grammy Award in 206.

Piper groups compete in several categories, paying tribute to the musical heritage of the region.

Every year the festival brings together a large audience from various regions of Colombia and abroad in the municipality of San Jacinto, about 120 kilometers from Cartagena de Indias, between August 11 and 14, within the framework of the patron saint festivities of San Jacinto and Santa Ana.
