The town of San Jerónimo, just 35 kilometers from Medellín, celebrates its Festival of the Sun and AgroTourism (Fiestas del Sol y El Agroturismo), where it pays tribute to the farmers of the municipality and the agricultural tradition of the region, as well as the tourism that has recently revitalized the economy of San Jerónimo, becoming a highly desired destination in Antioquia due to its warm climate, its good hotel infrastructure and its proximity to Medellín, from where it is very easy to get there after the inauguration of the Fernando Gómez Martínez Tunnel.
