During the second long weekend of November, the Tetoná and Return Festivals (Fiestas del Tetoná y del Retorno) take place in Yalí, named in honor of one of the hills that surround the town and which give rise to its nickname “the city of the hills.”
During the long weekend, Yaliseños can enjoy different activities such as shawm and troupe festivals, horseback riding, entrepreneurship fairs where local farmers, artisans and small and medium-sized businesses can exhibit and sell their products, in addition to, of course, music in I live with special guests.
In recent editions of the festivals, artists of the caliber of Los Tupamaros or Giovanny Ayala have performed in Yalí. The Tetoná and Return Festivals end on holiday Monday with two typical events at the end of a festival in Colombia: the desenguayabe festival and the sancochos festival, two perfect activities to recover from the intense weekend of celebrations.
The Tetona and El Retorno Festivals (Fiestas del Tetoná y del Retorno) celebrate the culture and traditions of Yalí and serve to strengthen the sense of belonging and social cohesion among its inhabitants.
It is a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the typical customs and gastronomy of the northeast of Antioquia, in a town surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a warm and cool climate.
