In August, the municipality of Morelia, in the Amazon foothills just 25 kilometers from Florencia, hosts the National Culture Festival “Sueños del Bodoquero”, named in honor of the river that borders the municipal seat.
During the festival, activities such as folk dance performances, traditional and modern music concerts are carried out.
These artistic expressions reflect the cultural diversity and traditions of the region, as well as the work carried out by the houses of culture and educational institutions of the different municipalities of Caquetá that send delegations to the festival, thus highlighting local and national talent.
The festival also includes forums, workshops and discussions on different facets of performing arts, cultural management and pedagogy, serving teachers and fans as a platform to share ideas and broaden their horizons.
The "Sueños del Bodoquero" National Culture Festival is a celebration that not only highlights the cultural richness of Morelia, but also encourages tourism and the conservation of Amazonian traditions, attracting visitors from different parts of the country.
