The Bogotá International Book Fair - FILBO (Feria Internacional del Libro Filbo) is one of the most important literary events in Latin America. Normally held between April and May in Corferias, this fair attracts thousands of visitors, including authors, publishers, booksellers and reading lovers from all over the world.
FILBO is a space where culture, education and the love of books are promoted, offering a platform for interaction between writers and readers.
During FILBO, a wide variety of activities take place, such as book launches, autograph signings, workshops, conferences, and panel discussions. These events give attendees the opportunity to meet established and emerging authors, and to participate in conversations about current literary and social issues.
Each year, FILBO features a guest country of honor, enriching the fair with that nation's culture and literature, featuring themed exhibits and special activities.
In addition, the fair includes an extensive exhibition area where publishers, bookstores and distributors present their new releases and classics, offering a vast selection of books for all tastes and ages.
FILBO is much more than a trade fair; is a cultural festival that encourages the habit of reading, the exchange of ideas and access to written culture, consolidating itself as an essential reference in the literary panorama of Colombia and the continent.
