At the beginning of September, "Expo Eje Café" takes place at the Coffee Park, in the municipality of Montenegro, just half an hour from Armenia.

This annual event, which brings together producers, experts, entrepreneurs, and coffee enthusiasts, aims to showcase the quality and diversity of coffee produced in this region of Colombia.

The fair’s program includes specialty coffee exhibitions, cupping competitions, and barista championships. More than 100 exhibitors from across the Coffee Region attend to present their products, including machinery, equipment, and technology for coffee growers.

Attendees have the opportunity to learn about coffee cultivation, harvesting, and roasting processes, as well as technological and sustainable innovations in the coffee industry.

Expo Eje Café features an academic agenda with conferences and workshops where producers and entrepreneurs can share knowledge about new trends in marketing, exporting, and production and roasting techniques.

Thie event is a key meeting point to promote Colombian coffee nationally and internationally, strengthening the coffee economy and spreading the cultural heritage of the Coffee Region.
