In July in Balboa, municipality of Risaralda located about 50 kilometers northwest of Pereira, the Tourist, Cultural and Green Market Agrofair and Biotrade of the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape (Agro Ferias Turísticas Culturales y de Mercados Verdes y Biocomercio del Paisaje Cultural Cafetero Colombiano) takes place, an event that brings together farmers, artisans, tourists and local inhabitants .

One of the main attractions of the Agroferia is the agricultural exhibition, where local farmers present their best products, such as coffee, banana, cassava, papaya and vegetables, which are a fundamental part of Balboa's economy.

You can also find prepared products such as sweets, juices and traditional arepas.

Crafts are also part of the agricultural fair's offering. The event is attended by representatives of the indigenous peoples of the region who carry handmade products such as ornaments, jewelry and utensils characteristic of their cultures.

The Balboa Tourist Agrofair not only boosts the local economy, but also promotes cultural identity and tourism, attracting visitors from various parts of the department and the region in a festive atmosphere and commercial exchange.
