In Chigorodó, usually in May, the Children's Theater Festival (Festival Infantil de Teatro) is held, an event that promotes culture and performing arts among the youngest in the region and provides boys and girls with a platform to express their creativity and talent.
During the festival, students from the different Child Development Centers, Gardens, and Preschools in the municipality present works prepared by their teachers and parents, usually representing traditional children's stories and promoting values such as friendship, solidarity, and respect.
In recent editions, plays such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Snow White and The Wizard of Oz have been presented. The presentations are held in different public spaces in the municipality, being accessible to the entire community.
The Chigorodó Children's Theater Festival (Festival Infantil de Teatro) is a celebration that not only entertains, but also educates and culturally enriches children, strengthening the social and cultural fabric of the community, and fostering a love of the arts from an early age.
